To volunteer on campus, you must first apply to be an Approved Level 2 CPS Volunteer. (Level 2 requires fewer steps and can typically be completed in about 1 week.)
You must renew your volunteer application EVERY school year.
Steps to becoming a CPS-approved volunteer:
1. View the CPS Volunteer Policy
2. Complete the Online Application Form.
3. Include Kenwood Academy as the school where you plan to volunteer on your application.
4. Forward a copy of your driver's license or state ID to Ms. Kareem at KAHS (email: aakareem1@cps.edu), or visit the main office in person.
5. Monitor your email for a reply from CPS confirming your Volunteer status.
For other questions about the volunteer process and your application, contact: volunteer@cps.edu, or call 773-553-1544.
